Nice Paintings of Shit Places

This is a project I worked on in 2024, where I travelled around the UK looking for beauty in the places that we normally overlook. Doctors waiting rooms, bus-stops, service stations, Wetherspoons. You name it I went there. I made a video for each place to explain my thoughts and how I found the most optimistic viewpoint.

I self-published a book of the first 30 paintings, but the project is far from over and I’m still painting as many awful places as I can find.
